Comments
Comments: Another old trail I'd been meaning to find. This is a very quiet alternative to the approach from Zealand Road. The trail climbs the western side of the ridge and meets the ST at a very clear junction (unmarked) a short distance below North. I suspect the locals use this route, as I saw plenty of evidence of foot traffic. Once up on the ridge, I went out and back to North and then out and back to Middle. Stellar views as always from both peaks on a crystal clear sunny morning.

(I'm being a bit vague about details in the interest of not having the trail become overrun, but feel free to email me for info. Thanks to J for the beta on how to access the trail.)
