Only ones along Fishin' Jimmy Tr. were easy, but with a huge downpour tomorrow and part of Friday they could pose a problem on the weekend |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All trails have been well maintained, though the upper part of Hi-Cannon trail could use some brushing, and some of the bog bridges on Kinsman Ridge trail along the Cannon Balls need to be replaced soon. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Hi-Cannon trail has only the short section with The ladder on Hi-Cannon could pose a problem and the steep sections on the KRT are tough on dogs. No need to carry water as there is plenty of water on all trails. |

| Comments: |
It was a perfect day for the hike, though the rain from the previous two days made everything pretty wet. Nevertheless, the rocks were not slippery. The trails that are part of the AT have been well maintained and some of the old bog bridges have been replaced. Despite the nice day I never met another hiker on the trails, except the tram people heading for the observation tower on Cannon and the usual hikers up to Lonesome Lake. |
