Comments
Comments: BEAUTIFUL day in the Whites! Going up the Carter Moriah Trail was more difficult than anticipated or advertised, but made the summit in about 2:45. Spent a lot of time at the top, met some nice hikers who all happened to have gone to school or worked within two towns from where I am in MA, and took the rest of the Carter Moriah Trail until the Stony Brook Trail. The rock slabs coming down from the summit were interesting, but careful steps were all that were needed. Overall, some minor mud and small areas of wet rock, although not on the large slabs, just parts on the trail.
