Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Low water made the 2 crossings on Carter Dome trail easy; a log is in place on the first crossing to get you across.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in great shape lots of flagging and cut logs below Zeta Pass on Carter dome - looks like a lot of improvements are being made - thanks for the hard work!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Met several out today enjoying the trails, steep ascent on Carter Moriah out of the notch might be challenging for the smaller canines - plenty of streams and sips along 19 MB; no water on Carter Moriah from hut to zeta pass with exception of spring on spur off CM .7 from Carter Notch; a few sips heading down Carter Dome trail from Zeta Pass with the streams below the switchbacks.
Bugs
Bugs: Saw a few but not biting today.

Comments
Comments: Loop up 19 MB to Carter Notch over Carter Dome and Hight and down Carter Dome Trail. Trails all in great shape; usual spots of mud and water on 19 MB and a few spots of mud on lower Carter dome below the stream crossing but nothing of concern. There is a lot of flagging and cut logs along Carter Dome on the switchbacks below zeta pass - looks like there is going to be a lot of trail maintenance happening soon. Met many out today including a number of NOBO's.
