No crossings. |

The trail nearest the parking area could use some irrigation, otherwise a-ok! |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
The only real water is near the trailhead, so bring some for your furry friends. Also, some of the scrambles can be hairy for both man and canine, so keep a watchful eye. |

Not bad until we dipped below treeline, then they were quite annoying. |

| Comments: |
Took some co-workers up Jefferson for the first time, and despite the rugged terrain and getting heavily sunburned, we did well, and the views from the top and along the trail were excellent. Now I remember why I love Caps Ridge Trail- fun and challenging scrambling, easily accessible, modest length, and constant views for about half the hike. |
