|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, August 20, 2016|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Parked on Zealand Road, got there earlier enough to get a good spot. |
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||A few of the water crossing although small had sufficient running to be able to filter some. No water crossing was death defying, rock hop or walk across. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Trails were great. No issues. |
||Saw 3 dogs...all nice...one at Guyote platforms was a big beggar... |
||Minimal to none. |
|Lost and Found:
||Lost colored neck-a-chief....pink, red, light blue skull and cross bones! ||
||There were 90 campers at the Guyot platforms. Keeper did an excellent job of finding all a place to be. Met some wonderful AT'rs and day hikers. |
Trails were plenty full with rocks of all sizes but easy to hop from one to another. Had some great locations of flat where you could pick up time and also rest.
Bonds were wonderful, views unmatched beauty. Met a nice ranger on top of Bond he was able to give some nice information out.
