While I was close to summit a man was looking for his lab. He decided to keep hiking to South Twin. 5 minutes later his dog Caleb came to North Twin summit. A very kind couple, with their own lab, put Caleb on a leash. A couple more hikers came by and left message for the owner on cell phone. The couple decided to descend North Twin with Caleb on leash and hope they heard from owner or they would contact a ranger. Happy ending. Owner called and got Caleb. Please be careful when you hike with a dog. This could have had a bad ending. |
