Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Log road (Tunnel Brook) walk (1.5 miles) prior to Benton Trail could use some cleanup. Old logging remnants obscure the "trail" but once get to Benton Trail it's in terrific condition. Hard to believe that more hikers don't use this approach! It's an awesome trail!

Comments
Comments: Finally got a chance to use this trail up Moosilauke. It is a beauty of a trail. We didn't see a soul until we were on the summit. There were about a dozen hikers at the summit. A HOT day to hike but a nice breeze & fog at the summit felt good.
