Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: You may get a toe wet at the one major crossing. I used a stick I found in the woods for assistance.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: At the third (and last) bog bridge above the upper Gale River Trail reroute the middle log has broken on the front portion (it's a double). The choices are to balance on one log or mini-straddle the remaining two. The trails are in great shape otherwise.

Bugs: Hardly any.

Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: With a less than stellar forecast I decided to stay in the trees. Despite predictions it didn't rain at all today though all morning and early afternoon the skies were overcast. On descent the sun came out and stayed out pumping up the temps which went from somewhat comfy to hot and humid.

Rocks on these trails are damp and a bit slick so some caution is needed. Not too many folks out today - and most of those were going to, coming from or staying at the hut.
