| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The Shelburne Tr was easy enough to find and there was ample parking at gate. Plenty of room at the Highwater TH. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossings were low and easy or bridged. The flow of the Wild River was around 13 cfs. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All trails were in overall good shape. The beaver dam areas along Moriah Brook Tr were not problematic. The Kenduskeag Tr was brushy east of Shelburne Moriah but never hard to follow. The deep mud pits were dry and almost stable. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Other than miles it was an easy hike for Marlie. The quiet, out of the way trails allowed her to lead the way most of the day. There wasn't any water along Cater - Moriah or Kenduskeag Tr except for one small spring about a half mile east of Mt Moriah. |
| Bugs: |
Not bad. A few deer flies along the lower Shelburne Tr. |

| Comments: |
It was a great day to pick up a few more miles of red lines and complete an 8th round of 4ks. I really enjoy the quite side of Mt Moriah. Thanks Matt and Chris for joining and making the car spot possible.
