Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in good shape along its entire length.

Dog-Related Notes: Had mine with me. Effectively no water along the Boot Spur Trail so plan ahead. Once down to Hermit Lake there is plenty available.

Comments: Lots of rock hopping with only a few areas where big steps were required. There was only one spot where I had to help my dog. It's a steep trail but not a hard trail to navigate if that makes sense.
