| Comments: |
The Randolph Path and Gulfside trails provide a long route from Randolph Valley to Mt Washington with generally easy grades. A few stretches of rough rocky footing on parts of the Randolph Path. The Randolph Path above the Spur Trail junction up to the tree line has some moist mossy surfaces which are slippery (log water bars, roots, and sloped rocks susceptible to slippage).
Saw no other hikers on ascent from the trailhead to just below The Perch. On descent saw no other hikers from The Perch to the trailhead. On the Gulfside there were many hikers and Mt Washington was crowded.
Great views from Maine to Vermont. Saw Sebago Lake beyond Pleasant Mountain. |
