|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One large trunk down on Webster Jackson just above Elephant head spur - an easy steparound; several bog bridges on Webster Cliff between Jackson and Mizpah hut are deteriorated and need replacing. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Many out enjoying the trails today and all well behaved; met a woman heading down that was hiking Field last week who lost the dog coat I had found - directed her to highland center to retrieve - plenty of water up Webster Jackson to the summit, a few places for a drink on Webster cliff over to the hut and then down Crawford. Some smaller dogs with less hiking experience may have problems with the Jackson summit ledges and may need a little help. |

| Bugs: |
Only spot they were trouble was outside the hut |

| Comments: |
Perfect day for a hike - Up Webster Jackson, Webster cliff to the hut and then down mizpah cutoff and Crawford; nice clear views from the summit today. Met two nice women hikers who introduced us to the geocache on the summit. Trails were all in great shape - all had some minor mud and spots of running water in the usual places but nothing of concern; summit ledges heading up and down were all nice and dry today. |
