 | Water Crossing Notes: |
First water crossing come down off of North Twin was unavoidable and very high due to storms and rain the previous two hours. I could hear the water getting louder as I stood there, trying to find a way across, very very fast and cold. Waded across as rock hoping was not possible.
Next two crossings avoidable with use of herd path. Tributaries were pretty high too. Lots and lots of water. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Rain was turning trail pretty soft and muddy, in between the rocks. Rock hopping was negotiable and with care, not too slipper. |

 | Comments: |
Great day out, but with weather, it was a bit of a puzzle. Hung out at Galehead Hut while first storm moved through, caught a break on South Twin and rain/thunder/some lightening resumed on North Twin and back to car. |
