| Comments: |
Though it was the last day of summer it felt more like fall. Foliage of some of the maples and birches are already showing great colors. All the trails were in great conditions. Did not see a hiker until I was heading down from Passaconaway. I met the president of the Wonalancet Outing Club and two of his friends with two rangers inspecting the trails and making evaluation of how trails could be further improved. I hope they read my comments, in particular about Square Ledge trail section. But I did tell them how great all other trails were. Later I met the Passaconaway Cutoff trail adopter, who was clearing all water bars and cutting back branches. He did a great job. |
