Comments
Comments: I joined a frien on his Seek the Peak hike. We started from Davis Path in the wee hours of the morning and hung our hammocks at the summit of Stairs Mountain for a few hours of rest. After getting up to watch sunrise and warm by a campfire we continued up the Davis Path, hitting the summits of Mount Davis, Mount Isolation and Boott Spur along the way. Davis path was all kinds of wet and muddy, don't expect to keep your feet clean and dry.

We entered very thick clouds and summitted Mount Washington shortly after noon. We queued up with the tourists to take our photo at the summit and met some great fellow hikers while waiting in line. We hiked down to Pinkham Notch by the breathtaking but very steep and rugged Nelson Crag Trail. Below the treeline the boulders you have to climb down became very wet and slippery and there were some areas of unavoidable mud.

All told we hiked for 14 hours, over 20 miles and 7000' elevation gain! I will eventually get a full trip report with photos and a video up on the blog.
