Jefferson Notch Rd is a typical narrow bumpy dirt road - clunkers (like mine) take note. Plenty of parking at trailhead. |

just 2 minor easy rockhoppers not worth mentioning on the return via Link. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Could have maybe used a few more blazes, but pretty obvious where the trail is, so not really. The Link is loaded with obstacles (up & over and between rocks, roots, debris) but be patient you'll get there. Took it a bit slower than usual up Caps and down Castle over challenging (BUT FUN) rock sections. |

Lots of friendly happy pooches! Made a friend in one Golden. |

a few (no-see-ums?)- bites. And some deer flies - minimal. |

Found nothing. Lost a chapstick. picked up some litter and carried out, as usual. :( |

Amazing day for my #46 Super fun and challenging route (but not overly so). Highly recommended! I could have stayed up there forever! Happy 4th! |
