Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a lot of dogs today and they all seemed to be having a great time! One was doing her first 4k, one was on his first hike... It seems owners view this as a good intro for the pups. It is dry higher up, so you'll have to carry water.
Bugs
Bugs: Way too windy on the summit. Lower there were only a few.

Comments
Comments: It was a really nice day to be out, especially now that I don't get to do this as much. This trip leaves me feeling great about myself because it is a well-graded trail that isn't as tough but rewards you with an awesome view at the top. No matter how many times I hike this peak, I find myself taking pictures of the same gorgeous views!

Today there was certainly a lot of company, but that's to be expected on a long weekend. It was fun to see the variety of people hiking -- young, old, solo hikers, groups.
