Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Valley Way is one wet trail. Although i dunno if this is typical or just. Because of the recent storms.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Missing sign for Valley Way at the hut.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I lost track of Sasha for 5 minutes on Durand Ridge. I had my hood on and head down due to the wind and she turned and headed back to treeline. Animals have good sense sometimes.

Comments
Comments: Valley Way is one wet trail. Although i dunno if this is typical or just. Because of the recent storms. Airline was gorgeous along the ridge, windy but safely traversable for us. The views of King Ravine are stunning. The cut-off to the summit seemed ok at first but the further we went i found it difficult to pick my way over the boulders while directing the dog. After about 1/4 mile i decided we were no longer having fun and turned back. We headed over to Madison hut for soup and the sheltered views on the Parapet then down Valley Way. Even tho it was blustery i enjoyed Airline much more than Valley Way until i hit the Fallsway near the end. About 1/2 mile walk along Snyder Brook with falls and nice soft pine needle beds for weary feet.
