Plenty of parking at trailhead for the Elwell Trail, opposite Wellington State Park. Lot was almost full when we arrived, and folks were coming and going. Busy trails today. |

Brushing needed on Goose Pond Loop Trail on western side of pond. Corridor is beginning to grow in on a few stretches. |

| Bugs: |
A few mosquitoes, eye flies, and black flies -- but the decent breeze kept them mostly at bay. |

| Comments: |
Fall-like conditions today. This route is always a treat; even on a busy day, most of it is pretty quiet -- only a few people use these trails beyond the out-and-back to Little Sugarloaf, via the snowmobile trail and Elwell Trail. |
