only one minor crossing easily done. |

Ethan Pond is in fine shape. Willey Range is rough and steep and gravelly. But no blowdowns or serious maintenance issues, and the ladders are in great shape. |

I saw a few dogs and all seemed well but this hike could be rough on the tender paws with all the gravel and sharp rocks on Willey Range. |

Some black and deer flies but not too bad. |

Hard steep hike. A good workout on the way up. Definitely need good footwear for the way down. The trail is rough and rocks slippery. |
