Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: These Trails were in as good shape as they can be, which isn't always so great. Caps Ridge in particular got a lot of attention recently.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I passed a couple on the lower half of the Caps Ridge Trail but the upper half has some steep scrambles that would challenge many pooches, I think.
Bugs
Bugs: Not bad at all. Mainly summit flies and some pesky biters near the end of the hike.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found:

Comments
Comments: My pace was painfully slow, thanks to the Cornice - mostly rock-hopping - and the steep and scrambly descent of the upper half of Caps Ridge. Plenty of people on CR and Castle Trails but I had the Cornice to myself. Glorious views above tree-line.
