| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
My set of White Mountain maps shows Gale River Rd. connecting with Haystack. I was sad to find that is not the case any more, apparently. Luckily, I hitched a ride back to my car. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossings on North Twin Trail were worse than I expected given our extended drought here in NH. Elected NOT to return back that way. Had to wade three times, and it got very dicey. Any higher water level and I'd have had to bail. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Everything in tip top shape. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
some black flies, but not biting. |
| Lost and Found: |
Note at Haystack Rd. parking that says, "Lost wallet. If found, call Kinsman Lodge." |
