gorgeous day to hike. opted for Osseo approach for a change of pace, going well until I restrained a calf muscle approaching the staircases. took it easy the rest of the way and opted to shorten hike with liberty springs descent which worked fine and was able to garner a ride back to my car. Thank you!! Lots of through hikers.LibertySprings trail had long areas of running water but rest of the trails were dry. Great day to be out 571 and 572 on the knee grid... nice long chat with Steve Smith on the way back through..thanks for the donation for the Longest Day!!! |
