Lots of off-leash dogs,,,, one big one on the Black Pond Trail startled me as it pushed me and grabbed my butt in its really huge wet mouth, getting my pants pretty wet - I wasn't sure if it would clamp down or not - pretty scary!!! Owners were like, "OH, SORRY!" I like dogs but this was pretty nerve-wracking!!!! |

none at all, even at dusk and dawn - probably too cold and windy - ? YAY!!!!! |

Terrific overnight in the Pemi Wilderness! This was my third time looking for the old Johnson Logging camp - third time was the charm!!! YAY!!!!
Amazing evening camping near the west side of Lincoln Brook. In the morning after breaking camp it took me a while but i finally found the remains of the logging camp.... no, I won't say where it is, but, it is definitely somewhere between Lincoln Brook and Mt Liberty :)
Trails in fine shape! Made it out just before the rain really started - YAY!!! Terrific hike!!!! |
