Comments
Comments: Wow, it was hot out there. We hiked out from Cabot Cabin and drove over to Starr King Trail. We'd read the book time was three hours, but it took us about four and a half-- likely because of the heat and humidity. There was no breeze, so stopping even at the lookouts was rough with the bugs. Lots of complaining from us, but it's always a good time outside-- I grabbed #24, and Chris grabbed #43. If you think Waumbek doesn't have a view, walk just past the summit for about a minute and look to the right. Incredible view of the Northern Presis, including King Ravine on Adams. Absolutely breathtaking.
