Comments
Comments: Forgot about the mile plus boulder field at the beginning of the trail. Not bad going up with fresh legs but coming back on tired legs is another story. Due to rain the night before the granite slabs about halfway up were wet and slippery. Even with these problems this hike is well worth the effort due to the views at the summit. About 50 yards before coming to the summit look to the left for the 2 foundation block's of the first fire tower. Many people tend to miss this and the view to the north.
