small black flies were intense on Bondcliff especially, and at other times on trail |

| Comments: |
This was a two day trip with o/n at Galehead Hut. Many hot sweaty hikers on all the trails. Saturday 5/28 was very warm, 5/29 early was cooler on Garfield. Small bits of ice here and there, microspikes not needed. Mud truly minor. Trails were dry for the most part. |
