some brush clearing beneficial at lower altitudes . Not that bad thought. Before the first water crossing is in the most trimming. no blowdowns |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
it is a doggable route short steep scramble just before the summit might give some dogs a hard time. You would still get good views on the ridge before the summit if your dog couldn't make it. I saw 3 dogs do the hike ok. The scramble is within 1/10th of a mile to the summit. |

The scrambles were not that bad for people unless you really hate scrambles. awesome views on the ridge trail between rocky branch and the peak. |
