| Dog-Related Notes: |
This is a hard trail for dogs. The first 3 miles are great but once you hit the castles it is tough going. Ava and Rocket needed a couple of assists up the the cliffs. Also the rocks at the summit are sharp and large - difficult for dogs. That being said the huskies did it. There was one other dog on the trail. There was not water for dogs after about 2.5 miles. We carried extra water for them. There were a couple of water run-offs that they could drink from but those will dry up soon. |

| Bugs: |
The bugs were extremely annoying. Black flies and mosquitoes. |

| Lost and Found: |
Doug lost his "road ID" but a fellow hiker found it. So it was lost and found! |
