Comments
Comments: Took a group of four friends/co-workers to the Mt. Washington area for a day of hiking. We all took the Ammo Ravine Trail to the LOC hut, but we split up at the hut, with myself and one person going to Washington, and the other three heading to nearby Monroe. (We kept in close contact w/each other with our cell phones.) Regrouped at the hut, then hiked down together. Black Mtn Burger never tasted so good!

As for trail conditions, the lower 2 miles of Ammo Ravine were mostly dry, with some ice patches off trail. Once past Gem Pool, it was still dry, but quickly turned to wet slab and ledges, which made for tricky walking going down. Some stray snow/ice patches and monorail above 4,000' to the hut. Once above treeline, there was virtually no snow or ice.

Thanks to CJ, Arianna, Chad, and Riley for a fun hike!
