Hot and steamy coming up from Tripoli road this morning. Bottom third remains rocky and rough. I have not been on this route without snow in a few years and was quite impressed with the amount of trail work done in the middle section.. Kudos!! a real nice foot bed . large blowdown patch as mentioned. once to the side hill ledges at 3500 feet some work noted there as well. Trail is in pretty good shape! From Osceola to East..getting rougher and rougher..fair amount erosion on the steeps. By pass was dry though you can see where people are taking winter route bypass in all season. No ice or snow that needed to be stepped on..my spikes are officially put away. saw a couple dozen people today..most just went to osceola..nice day out in the mountains and felt strong...567 and 568 on the knee grid.... |
