Too many blow downs to count on Jewell. Some pretty difficult to get over/under. |

Black flies definitely out, and biting. |

| Comments: |
Used micro spikes 3 times on Ammo. Others were bare booting and slipping. Very minimal ice/snow spots just below treeline. Some are on slab portions of trail, so I found traction helpful. No ice/snow on trails above treeline, or on Jewell. Crawford and Gulfside trails were little rivers with a lot of runoff. I'd think by this weekend, most snow/ice will be gone on Ammo and easily hiked (albeit wet). |
