still some areas of slippery, solid ice on some of the upper sections. I didn`t use spikes,but it wouldn`t have been a bad idea.The trail over to Mt.Tom was wet,muddy & quite eroded in many sections. |

nice weather, cool temps. excellent hike after being out of commission for a while. my knee is feeling good enough that I feel comfortable doing some longer hikes. (as long as I wear my knee brace). |
