One minor water crossing easy to navigate |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in good shape overall, good signage and just one blowdown. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only saw one dog all day and he was breezing along. |

| Bugs: |
Not an issue. There was a light breeze in the morning which kept them away. Never needed bug spray. Saw maybe a total of 5 mayflies |

| Comments: |
I barebooted all the way. Some snow and ice but manageable. Having some hiking poles helped with stability. I packed microspikes but never pulled them out nor did I see anyone else with micros on their feet. Sunny and hazy most of day but then began to cloud up midafternoon. No rain at all. Decent number of people on the trails but very reasonable as their were long bouts without seeing anyone. |
