Comments
Comments: Late start at 11 am so the sun was hot on the Livermore Road trail abd the fleas were biting, Scar ridge trail was a breeze , moderate grade over leaves, few rocks I remember this trail being longer and was surprised to hit the jct so quickly, the trail had lots of spring flowers blooming , awesome view of the North slide and cool breezes , no bugs. Pine bend was great until the steep part right before the summit, was wet rock and still some hard ice, enough rock to avoid pulling out my spikes but it was a challenge , one could use spikes still in this section, summits were in the clear with beautiful views. Descended the south slide as it was bone dry Saw 6 people 2 dogs and 1 person was a 10 year old, whom had come up the North slide descended the south to conquer his 47th peak today !!!! Great going !!!
