Comments
Comments: Beautiful day for a revisit of Mt. Garfield! Snow/ice started around 3,000' and became more widespread as I got closer to the top. The steep section before the top was incredibly slick, so I'd say that if you don't have microspikes, don't do this one. I saw a couple people without traction of any kind, and they were really struggling. That said, it was an excellent views day! Could see as far south as the Belknaps and as far north as Sommet Rond in Québec. A fine day in them thar mountains.
