Waterbars are in desperate condition. No blowdowns. Signage in good shape. |

Plenty of running water to drink and play in. Mud season is here, just look inside my truck. There is one section of slanting ice, but with care, hiking dogs should have no trouble. |

I saw some, not sure what they were, but they were young and dumb,no biting. |

| Comments: |
Barebooted to Mizpah junction. From there wore Microspikes to summit. A fresh dusting of snow actually helped with the footing on the ice. Overall the trail is easily ascended with light traction. |
