Only 3 cars in the lot when we arrived at 7:45... probably over 25+ when we finished around 12..! Tripoli Rd. still closed. |

Had Boston with us today and we met another dog near the summit who was working on his 48 in 2016. Very good trail for dogs, and we saw at least a half dozen in the lot when we finished. |

Almost none to speak of. |

many gloves and empty nip bottles underneath the chair lifts on the way down ;) |

| Comments: |
Ice is still pretty thick on the trail about 3000-3200 feet. A lot of sections are clear however. Light traction is recommended. My brother put on his micro spikes which made his life easy. I was stubborn and felt like rocking hopping and actually made it up the trail just fine without them. I'd say by the middle to end of this week (5/9) they shouldn't be needed, but brought just in case. Ski slopes are all clear if you want to hike down that way. |
