Wore hillsound microspikes and was fine. 2 groups of folks in sneakers had to turn back do the the ice in the last mile up edwards path towards Eisenhower. Used the hillsounds for about 50% of the 12 mile hike. Definitely need the spikes to get up a few really tough sections. |
