| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings were fine with rock hopping. We planned to do the loop and take Webster Cliff back but we passed other hikers who said a water crossing on the Webster Cliff side was very flooded and swollen. They actually turned around because they didn't want to try to cross it. We took their word and decided not to do the loop. |

The trail starts being very wet and muddy. It's pretty much unavoidable. Lots of big puddles and water trickling down the trail. There are a few random soft snow/ice patches along the way but the last 1.2 mile you will need microspikes. There is still a decent amount of ice up there. It is doable but I wouldn't attempt it without the spikes. However the rock scramble at the end and the summit was completely clear of ice. |
