Comments
Comments: I got most of the way to the summit of Whiteface via Blueberry Ridge Cutoff and Blueberry Ridge without traction, then part way into the last part of Blueberry Ridge, just before the Rollins intersection, before I put on my microspikes. Coming down Rollins from the Whiteface summit there was one brief steep, icy patch that had me wishing for a little more than microspikes, but I clung to trees along the edge of this section and got past it. I kept my microspikes on going up and down from the summit of Passaconaway, but the need for them wasn't that great most of the way.
