One of the best after work hikes I've ever done! The Tecumseh Trail down low, just before the second brook crossing, was almost bone dry with a few patches of snow. After the second crossing, the snow cover was almost constant, and it got deeper as I ascended. Once at the top, the view was crystal clear! It was also rather mild out, even at 4,003 ft. Hiked from bottom to top in short sleeves. Tagged along with a great group from Plymouth State University on the way down, and chatted with the trail maintainer (rocket21) at the trailhead before I left. All in all an excellent afternoon on one of my favorite peaks. |
