Comments
Comments: Trail was a mix of dry and wet trail down low with several muddy areas that were easily avoided. About 2/3 of the way up the trail a steady monorail of ice starts where light traction is necessary to the summit. I saw nobody else on this trail all day! Once at the summit views over Sawyer Pond and to the Hancocks and Carrigain were great! This hike has a lot more elevation than you might expect from a 3000 footer but the views make the climb worth it!
