| Comments: |
First cars in the lot at 7:00, Trail dry for about 100 yards. Water running in trail until height of land at 1.8.
Ice and snow patches begin here and become more numerous but easily negotiable. Bush Whack mostly snow free and nice open woods. Ice on Isolation trail becomes more significant as elevation gains. We put spikes on just before last stream crossing. Snow monorail with water in trail from crossing on. Still some decent snow depths, But easy with spikes. Cold temps today made the ice flow on spur trail to summit a little difficult but manageable. Summit bare, with little wind but chilly.
Good day out with Gary T. |
