The ice is melting fast, there was much less ice on my way out. The stairs on Osseo are clear of ice now, however shady areas still have ice and frozen granular. The trail between Flume and Liberty is still snow packed and icy. But anything exposed or that gets sun is free of ice and snow. Microspikes were all I used, crampons stayed in the pack. I'd still carry microspikes for a few more weeks. |
