Parking/Access Road Notes: Trailhead parking lot off route 116 had a dozen vehicles at 11am.

Comments
Comments: Barebooted on dry then wet trail for the first 2.5 miles. Then microspikes required afterwards to get up ice flows to the top of North. Ridge trail to South was also snow and ice and some bare ground. 60+ degree day so the ice was softening up. Hardly any wind. We saw 12 other hikers, a few who had to turn back because of no traction.
