|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Flume, NH|
||Lincoln Woods Trail, Osseo Trail, Franconia Ridge Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Sunday, April 17, 2016|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Parking lot was surprisingly crowded at 0700. |
||Ice - Black, Ice - Breakable Crust |
||Light Traction |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||No water crossings |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Trail is in pretty good shape. |
||Would not recommend for dogs. Ice is pretty bad |
||Heard a few flies but no bites |
|Lost and Found:
||Lost my Calloway Black Pullover. ||
||The ice made me a little nervous. I used microspikes and they worked really well on the way up. Coming down I didn't have enough confidence to depend on them completely. I had to butt slide the steeper sections around the ladders. I bought rain pants and put them on for the trip down. |
On top it was warm and clam. Tee shirt and miles visibility.
Great route for the kids once the ice melts.
