Comments
Comments: It's still Winter/early sprng conditions up high. Major ice floes made the summit cone very tricky. The Rollins Trail was almost entirely stable monorail broken up by ice floes. The warming afternoon temperatures softened the ice somewhat. I stayed with microspikes; my hiking buddy went to crampons. The Dicey Mills Trail was a fast, no snow/ice descent below 2800'. Don't even try this loop without traction... Great day, outstanding views! Congratulations to George for #42 and #4 over 70.
