Comments
Comments: After work hike...Started with old micros. Switched to Hillsounds on sketchy side angle areas with ice flows before Gem Pool. Put on full crampons at Gem Pool. Happy to have them! Very icy going up Ammo. Felt very stable with crampons. Stayed in crampons up and down Monroe. After steep angle "no fall zone" on Crawford Path, snow was softer and many rocks were exposed so we switched to Hillsounds, which helped us move faster. Minimal winds up high! Decided to descend next to the Cog to get down before dark. Beautiful sunset and always epic on Washington!
